About ShelfPilot

The world's first community review platform for products found on real supermarket shelves.

Our story

ShelfPilot was born from a simple frustration — you walk into a supermarket looking for the best penne pasta, a great plum cake, or an authentic regional snack, and there is nowhere to look it up. Online reviews exist for restaurants, hotels and Amazon products. But what about the small Italian pasta brand sitting on a shelf in Carrefour? The artisan plum cake from a local bakery with no Instagram page? That gap is what ShelfPilot fills.

What we do

ShelfPilot is a global product review platform focused entirely on physical products sold in local stores. Not online shops. Not Amazon listings. Real products, on real shelves, reviewed by real people who found them. Users search for products, discover what is available in their local market, read honest reviews from people in their city or region, and find out exactly which store carries it.

Our promise

There is no selling on ShelfPilot. No sponsored listings. No affiliate links. Every review is moderated by our team before it goes live. We are building the most trusted community of local product reviewers in the world — one honest review at a time.

Where we operate

ShelfPilot launched with an initial focus on the UAE, India and the UK — three markets with rich local food cultures, strong expat communities and millions of products that have never been reviewed online. We are expanding globally and welcome reviewers from every country.
